This flexible, individually tailored and managed care package is for clients who are eligible for high level residential care.

The Aged Care Assessment Team (ACAT) assesses for eligibility.

In addition to the services provided under Community Aged Care Packages, the care may include specialised clinical services such as:

• pain management
• enteral feeding
• catheter care
• wound care
• tracheostomy care

Therapy services can include:

• physiotherapy
• podiatry
• speech therapy
• occupational therapy
• diversional and recreational therapy.

The Forrest Centre is funded to provide care to clients in Wagga Wagga, Tumut and Tumbarumba.

The service is funded through the Commonwealth Department of Health and Ageing.
